Adding custom fonts in Privy is easy. You can load and use a custom font, or you can have Privy reuse an existing font already loaded on your site.
Load and use a custom font
Begin by selecting a custom font to load. As an example, we'll use a font available at https://fonts.google.com, although the same ideas apply wherever your font is hosted:
Once you've chosen your custom font, navigate to your Privy dashboard customizations page and click to add a new font. For the name of the font, enter the font family as it appears in Google Fonts:
Be sure to enter only one font name, without any quotes. For the CSS URL, enter the URL to the CSS link*, like so:
*The appearance of the link will vary depending on the source of the custom font file.
Then save your changes. That's it! Your new font will now appear in the in the campaign editor!
To add more fonts, repeat this process until you have added all the fonts you need.
Use an existing font already loaded on your website
To use an existing font, begin by navigating to the customizations page.
- Click to add a new font.
- Follow the steps above to add the CSS URL to the customizations page
*One thing to note is some fonts may not be web or email safe. To learn more about this, you can read our article on this topic here.
