What is reCAPTCHA?
reCAPTCHA is a service that protects your website from spam and abuse. reCAPTCHA uses an advanced risk analysis engine and adaptive CAPTCHAs to keep automated software from engaging in abusive activities on your site. It does this while letting your valid users pass through with ease.
reCAPTCHA and Privy
Your Privy forms leverage Google's Invisible reCAPTCHA. This means that the majority of users will pass through the form without ever needing to complete a reCAPTCHA test. In the background, Google is scanning that visitor's behavior to determine, to the best of their ability, whether this visitor is abusive, SPAM, or perhaps a bot. If Google has reason to believe any one of those are true, only then will they present the reCAPTCHA test.
How do I turn off reCAPTCHA on my Privy account?
You have the ability to enable to disable your Invisible reCAPTCHA from within your Privy dashboard. You will find this option under "business settings":
If you have any questions about reCAPTCHA on your Privy form, please let us know in support. Requests to turn off reCAPTCHA on your Privy account will be reviewed and honored by the support team in their sole discretion.
* Note that if you personally test your own business website at a high frequency, this may prompt you to pass a reCAPTCHA test while testing your Privy forms.
* Keep in mind it is incredibly unlikely your customers will ever be presented with the test.
