When you first design and launch a campaign chances are that you will see a tab displayed on your site:
This is a completely customizable--or even removable--option. Before tackling the settings for this feature, we’d like to share with you one important piece of information.
Why have the tab at all? The tab exists so that your campaign can be manually triggered on your site. This is especially helpful if someone visiting your site has accidentally closed it and is wanting to take advantage of your campaign after the fact. For our free users, it is also a way to remain in compliance with Google’s stance on popups. More information on that is available on our blog.
If you want to edit or remove the tab that’s active on your campaign we’ve got you covered. Please have a look at the instructions below.
After you’ve logged into your Privy account please click on the icon for the campaign that you wish to edit.
After doing this, click on the “Design” tab on the upper left side of the screen which is located directly under the title for your campaign.
Clicking on the Tab Design option will present you with the following page:
The left side of the screen contains all options for editing the look and feel of your campaign’s tab.
Many of the options above are self-explanatory. However, the tab style, position, and mobile position are the ones of most interest as they come with a number of different options. Selecting Tab Style, for instance, will give you six different options to choose from:
Whenever you choose a particular style from this menu, the preview pane to the right side of the screen will update in real-time to show you how the style will appear on your site. A check mark will also appear to indicate the style that you’ve chosen.
The same selection process is applied to the Position and Mobile Position options:
Once you’ve made your desired adjustments, you can click on the red Save changes button on the upper right side of the preview pane.
