This plan includes four types of emails:
Abandoned Cart Emails
If you are a Shopify, BigCommerce or Weebly customer, you can utilize Privy's Abandoned Cart Emails. This email type is triggered when a shopper adds a product to their cart and leaves your site. Privy can then send a reminder email (or a series of reminder emails) to your shoppers to incentivize them to complete their purchase. Once the user completes a purchase, they will stop receiving your abandoned cart series. Most Privy customers will recover between 10% and 20% of abandoned carts. Once you set up your Abandoned Cart Emails, they will continue to send automatically without any additional effort from you.
What sets Privy's abandoned cart emails apart is that they truly capture abandoned carts vs. abandoned checkouts. Any existing contact in your Privy database is eligible to receive an abandoned cart email instead of relying on shoppers to fill out their contact information during the checkout process.
All Privy customers have the ability to send one follow up email after a contact signs up on a Privy display. This email, which can contain unique and master coupon codes, is called an Autoresponder. This email is delivered immediately to the contact when they signup for a Privy onsite campaign. Like Abandoned Cart Emails, Autoresponders can be set up once and will send automatically.
If you've signed up for our Email plan, you can send multiple Autoresponder emails. For example, you can trigger a second email to send one day after signup, and a third to send three days after signup. Only contacts who haven't completed a purchase would continue to receive reminders. Using this strategy can give your shoppers multiple opportunities to become a customer and make that purchase.

Newsletters are individual emails that you can setup and send to your entire database or a segment of your customers. These segments can be based on purchasing behavior or other attributes you've collected about your contacts.
Order Follow Up Emails
For Shopify or Bigcommerce stores, anyone who purchases from your store and opts in to receive marketing emails can receive an Order Follow Up email or email series. You can also add an Order Summary block to your emails to summarize someone's order as a confirmation. With Privy, you can set minimum and maximum purchase values and determine what time post-purchase to send the email to create an order follow up email series. Creating a series based on purchase amount allows for more personalized messages to show appreciation to your customers and drive customers back to your site. This is a post-purchase email that you can use to drive additional sales, reward loyal customers, build your social following, request reviews, and more.
