Syncing your Privy contacts to an external service, like an email service provider, has always been possible from within your campaign settings.
We've made a few changes to make it more powerful and pave the way for additional automation options in the future.
Here's what you need to know:
- Updated: The old email sync feature that lives on the form step of the campaign builder has now been replaced by an “Automation” step.
- Updated: You can now to sync contacts to multiple lists from the same campaign
- Updated: You can now sync contacts to multiple providers from within the same campaign.
Here's how it works:
Click into any campaign that you intend to work with:
Within the campaign, select the Automation tab:
From the Automation tab, select the button labeled “New Rule” :
You will then be prompted to select an account to sync to. In this example, we will use MailChimp:
After selecting an account to sync to, additional configuration options like choosing a list will appear on the screen:
After selecting your desired options, select the Save button:
After completing this process your initial sync setup will be complete.
To sync contacts to additional services or lists from the same campaign click on the "New Rule" button and follow the same steps.
