UTM tags are now automatically added to all links in privy emails.
You can now use advanced audience targeting to include or exclude traffic matching these attributes.
The campaign, source, and medium attributes will also begin populating in Google Analytics, if it is installed on your site.
The following table describes how the tags are added:
'###' will be replaced by the id of the campaign or newsletter that sent the email.
If the links in your email already contain utm tags, Privy will not overwrite them. If you remove existing utm tags from those links, Privy will begin appending them to your emails.
The automatic tagging is in effect when you test your email, so you can always send yourself a test email to check the behavior.
The utm tagging cannot be customized, but it can be disabled. To disable automatic utm tags for your account, please contact support.
