You can set automatic trigger rules to display a campaign to a visitor on your site.
To edit your display triggers, click on the desired campaign from the Campaign Screen:
Once inside the Campaign, select the Design Tab and click on the Triggers section
Note: The Trigger section will indicate the type of display. For example a Flyout Campaign will show Flyout Triggers.
The following options are available triggers:
Note: In a single visit, the visitor will only see the display once, based on whichever of your selected triggers occurs first.
- Show on a Timer – This will show the campaign after the desired time-frame once the page has loaded
- Show after scrolling – used to trigger the display after the visitor scrolls down your page a certain percentage. This is only ideal for longer scrolling pages.
- Show on exit- intent – used to trigger the display if a user’s mouse movement shows intent to leave your site. Learn more about mobile exit-intent here - Does Exit-Intent Work on Mobile?
The Trigger Automatically At Most setting will let Privy know how often to re-display the campaign to a user who has not signed up.
Note: Regardless of what you have selected for the frequency setting, if a visitor does sign up, we automatically suppress the display from showing to that same person again.
