A landing page functions differently from Popups and other campaign types. The main difference is that it does not display on your site. Instead, a landing page is a self-contained campaign that you can direct your contacts to via a link. This is especially helpful in situations when you want to share a campaign across social media channels.
Designing your landing page can be done in a few easy steps.
From the home page in your Privy account, click + New Campaign
On the following pop up, select Build Your Own
Next, you'll give the new campaign a title. This title is internal to your account only and is not customer facing. After naming the campaign, click create campaign.
You will land on the Create Tab of the new campaign, and you will want to scroll down to click Add A Display.
You will then see a menu on the left that lists all campaign types. The landing page option will be the last one. Select Landing Page and choose a template or start with a default blank landing page. Once you have chosen your template, confirm your choice by clicking Choose Selected from the upper right corner.
You will then be brought to the Campaign Editor for your landing page. Check out our article about working with the editor here - Using The Privy Designer. Once you’ve configured the campaign to your liking, click on the Save button in the upper right corner of the screen.
The final step will be to publish the campaign and grab the link from the Design Tab next to the design option:
Note: The campaign URL will only show when the campaign is published, if you stop the campaign the link will not appear until you have published again.
