Some customers want to compare the monthly website pageviews we track as Privy's subscription metric for email list growth tool with a third party analytics platform.
Although pageview counts may vary slightly between platforms, this information can help you confirm that you are in the correct pricing tier for Privy.
Privy's pricing metric is pageviews NOT sessions or users. The instructions below can help you can find your pageview count within Google Analytics. Shopify does not track pageview metrics within their platform, so that information cannot be found within your Shopify instance.
Please Note: Installing your Privy code on multiple websites, selecting an incorrect view within Google Analytics, or choosing a date range in Google Analytics different from the date range within Privy may return incorrect results. Please be sure you are comparing the same site within the same date range.
1. Log in to your Google Analytics account
2. Go to Audience > Overview
3a. Adjust the date to the last calendar month.
3b. Alternatively, you can adjust your calendar to see the last 30 days
4. Your total pageviews for that month (or last 30 days) will be shown below the graph
Reminder: Privy's pricing is based on your average monthly pageviews. Every three months, we will automatically look at your average monthly pageviews across those months and adjust your price tier up or down.
