The Sender Information page shows how your business identifies itself on outbound text messages. To reach it, select Settings in the lower left corner of your dashboard, then choose Sender Information under Text Settings.

Verification

Shows the carrier verification status for your SMS sending number — Verified or Unverified. If you haven’t registered yet, click Start SMS Registration to begin Toll-Free Verification. Verification usually takes 2–5 business days after submission.

Phone Number

Shows the phone number your texts send from. Privy Text sends to US and Canadian numbers only. This section also previews the double opt-in message sent to new subscribers (for example, {Business name}: Reply Y to receive occasional marketing text msgs...) — merchants are required to send this message when someone signs up. The business name used in your texts comes from your Business Information.

Call Forwarding

Enter a US or Canadian phone number to forward calls placed to your SMS sending number, then click Save.

Contact Card

The Contact Card page, also under Text Settings, customizes the contact card (vCard) sent to your SMS subscribers so your brand saves cleanly in their phone’s contacts. Organization Name is required — it’s the name your contact will be saved as. The remaining fields are optional: a contact image (up to 600 KB), email, website, business phone, first and last name, street address, and a note.
The first time you open the page, Privy prefills the fields from your Business Information. Edits you make here only affect the contact card.
