At Privy, our pricing for Privy Growth is based on the average pageviews your site gets.
A pageview is an instance of a page being loaded in a browser. Each time a page loads on your site with the Privy code loaded on it, we will count it as a pageview.
We price based on pageviews because we believe you should have access to all of our features at a price that corresponds to the reach of your company, and the number of people who will see your Privy displays.
How Pageviews, Campaign Views, and Sessions Are Different
Other metrics such as the views of your Privy campaigns or the number of sessions on your website are not the same as your website pageview count; those website metrics are calculated differently.
For example, a visitor to your site who has already signed up for a Privy campaign might not see your campaign anymore (and not add to your campaign views), but is able to continue to view additional pages on your website.
Sessions, by contrast, are often defined as a group of interactions one user takes within a given time frame on your website
How does Privy calculate my average monthly pageviews?
Privy pricing is based on up to three months of historical website pageviews at the time that you upgrade. Every three months after you upgrade, we will automatically look at your average monthly pageviews across those months and adjust your price tier up or down.
We'll calculate the average pageviews for every day that we have data, then multiply by 30.
Where can I find my average monthly pageviews?
After you sign up for Privy, it takes us 2-3 days to determine your average monthly pageviews. Once we have calculated the average monthly pageviews, you can view your average monthly pageviews by navigating to your Subscriptions page. Just click on your profile in the upper right-hand corner, and select “Upgrade”.
