For Privy users who have Shopify Plus, Shopify, or Bigcommerce stores, you are now able to view the Revenue that your onsite campaigns have generated for your store! The value displayed as Campaign Revenue represents the total amount of revenue obtained from your contacts who have signed up for a Privy campaign and then made a purchase at some point after they sign up.
The Campaign Revenue will be displayed on your Campaigns dashboard screens to report on the total revenue from your store that can be attributed to your website visitors signing up for your Privy display campaigns.
How it Works
For Shopify Plus, Shopify, and Bigcommerce stores, Privy records when one of your customers makes a purchase after signing up for any of your Privy campaigns. If there was a purchase made by the contact, then the revenue from that sale is attributed to your Privy Campaign Revenue.
The value represented in Campaign Revenue includes historic data for both Shopify and Bigcommerce store integrations. That means the revenue is representative of the total value earned from all contacts who have signed up for a Privy campaign and then made a purchase from your store.
For people using Privy Email as their email service provider, you will also see the Revenue Generated attribution for Privy abandoned cart emails and order follow up emails. If your customer has both received either a Privy abandoned cart or order follow up email in the last 7 days and also signed up for a Privy campaign, the revenue will be attributed both to that email and to your Campaign Revenue. That way, if a customer has both received an abandoned cart or order follow up email in the last 7 days and signed up for a campaign, the revenue generated value will be counted toward the email received as well as your campaign.
Currency Conversion
If your store uses a currency other than USD, the revenue generated will still display the accurate monetary amount! When someone makes a purchase from your store in a different currency after signing up for a Privy onsite campaign, Privy will take the day's market currency exchange rate from the currency used for purchase to USD to reflect the generated campaign revenue.
