The Privy integration with Junip allows you to engage with customers who leave reviews, including: Trigger Flows when a customer submits a review in Junip. Split Flows based on review properties like rating, verified buyer status, and more. Send personalized follow-up emails or texts to reviewers automatically.

Setting up the integration

To connect Privy with your Junip account:
  • Navigate to your Settings in the lower left corner of your dashboard.
  • Head to your Integrations page, which can be found near the bottom of the left side menu.
  • Locate the Junip integration and click to open its settings, then click Connect.
  • You will be redirected to Junip to authorize the connection. Approve the integration to continue.
Once authorized, you’ll be returned to Privy and the integration will show as connected.

Configure Junip to send events to Privy

After connecting, you need to set up a post-review action in Junip so that review events are sent to Privy.
  • In your connected Junip integration settings in Privy, click Open Junip Flows to go to the Junip Flows page.
  • Create or edit a post-review action flow.
  • Add a Send event action and select Privy as the destination.
Without this step, Junip will not send review events to Privy, and your Flows will not trigger.

Junip Events

The following event syncs from Junip to Privy in real time:
  • Review Submitted — Fires when a customer submits a product review.

Review properties available for Flow conditions

When a review is submitted, the following properties are included and can be used in Flow trigger conditions and Split nodes:
  • Rating — The review rating (1–5).
  • Verified Buyer — Whether the reviewer is a verified buyer.
  • Would Recommend — Whether the reviewer would recommend the product.

Trigger Flows by a Junip Event

Building a Flow that triggers after a Junip review event is a great way to follow up with customers who leave reviews. For example, you could send a thank-you email to 5-star reviewers or offer a discount code to encourage repeat purchases. To build this Flow:
  • Navigate to Flows from your dashboard.
  • Click Create Flow in the upper right corner.
  • Select the Integration Event option from the following menu.
  • Click Customize Flow to continue.
Once you’re in the Flow builder, you’ll need to choose which event you want to trigger your Flow.
  • Click the dropdown menu under Integration Event on the right side of the builder.
  • Select Junip and then Review Submitted.
From here, you can start building your Flow by adding time delays, emails, texts, and/or Splits. Check out this resource if you need guidance on how to use our Flow builder.

Use Split nodes with Junip review properties

You can use Split nodes in your Flow to branch logic based on review properties. For example, you could send different follow-up messages depending on whether the reviewer gave a high or low rating.
  • Add a Split node to your Flow.
  • Under Trigger Conditions, select a Junip property such as Rating.
  • Set your condition (e.g., Rating is greater than 3).
Contacts who match the condition will follow the Yes path, while others will follow the No path.

Disconnecting the integration

To disconnect your Privy and Junip integration:
  • Navigate to your Settings in the lower left corner of your dashboard.
  • Head to your Integrations page, which can be found near the bottom of the left side menu.
