To sync the contacts captured by your Privy Convert campaigns to your SMSBump account, you will need to install a custom SMSBump script and create a compatible Privy campaign.
Before you begin
First, you need to make sure you have both Privy and SMSBump installed in your Shopify Store.
Create SMSBump Form
Next, you need to create an Embed Form from the Collect Subscribers menu in SMSBump.
Once you are done customizing the form, click on the Publish button in the top right corner. Confirm your publishing decision, select the 3rd tab - Privy Integration, and click the Copy to Clipboard button.
Install the SMSBump code
- In your Privy account, click the Account Settings dropdown menu from the main navigation bar. Your user and account names appear on the menu.
- Select the Integrations option from the dropdown menu.
- Select the Customization option from the sidebar and paste the SMSBump script code in the Conversion Pixels field.
- Scroll down and click the Save Changes button, located at the bottom of the page.
Create a compatible campaign
For the proper information to sync to SMSBump so that you can send contacts text messages, a campaign must include the phone field and the text opt-in field as outlined in this guide. The complete display would look something like this:
Test the integration
To test the integration, go to your store’s website and signup via a compatible campaign. Your phone number should appear in the Signups section of the campaign's Results tab in Privy.
It should also appear in your SMSBump Lists & Segments as part of your default Text Marketing List. Privy will be listed under the Source column for these synced subscribers, as shown below:
