To sync the contacts captured by your Privy displays into your Redo account, you will first need to integrate the two accounts, then set up sync rules on each of your displays.

Setting up the integration

To link your Privy account with your Redo account:
  1. Navigate to your Settings from the bottom left corner of your dashboard.
  2. Head to your Integrations page, which can be found near the bottom of the left side menu.
  3. Locate the Redo integration and click Connect.
  4. Enter your Store ID and API Secret, then click Connect again.
In Redo, open Settings → Developer, create an API client with only the customers_write scope, and copy the API secret when it is shown. Your Store ID appears on the same page.
All set! Redo should now appear as a connected integration on your Integrations page.

Add a sync rule to your displays

To add a sync rule to a display so that the collected contacts sync to Redo:
  1. Navigate to your Displays from your dashboard.
  2. Select the display you’d like to sync and navigate to the Settings step of the display builder.
  3. Click to expand Advanced Settings at the bottom left of the page. Scroll to the Sync Integrations section.
  4. Click Add Integration, select your Redo account, and choose Customers.
  5. Save your changes.
Redo has no lists. Customers is the only destination. When a signup includes an email, Privy adds or updates that customer in Redo. The following details sync when they are present:
  • Email address
  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Custom fields
A signup without an email does not sync to Redo.
If the display uses double opt-in, Privy still adds or updates the customer in Redo when they sign up. After they confirm, Privy syncs them as subscribed so Redo marketing automations and welcome emails can run. Until they confirm, Privy does not change their marketing status in Redo, so an existing subscriber stays subscribed.
When a subscribed contact syncs to Redo, Redo can run its marketing automations for that contact, including a welcome email if you have one configured. Set up that automation in Redo, and use the Already subscribed skip condition so existing subscribers are not welcomed again. This display’s signups will now sync to Redo.
Sync rules must be set up for each individual display.

Removing the integration

If you need to disconnect your Privy and Redo accounts, follow these steps:
  1. Navigate to your Settings from the bottom left corner of your dashboard.
  2. Head to your Integrations page, which can be found near the bottom of the left side menu.
  3. Locate the Redo integration and click Edit Integration.
  4. Click Disconnect to confirm your decision.
