What are Real-time Email Notifications?
The long and the short of it is that they’re a way for you to stay informed about what’s going on with a campaign. When you activate this feature (not available on all plans), Privy will send you an email whenever someone signs up for your campaign. That email will contain details such as:
- Customer’s Email.
- Their name.
- Any additional fields that you’ve included on your form.
These notifications are specific to the campaign in your Privy account and they’re also specific to the different user email addresses associated with your account.
What do we mean by this?
As an example, let’s say you have campaigns A and B in your account. You can choose to receive email notifications for campaign A only and leave B alone. The sample applies for user email addresses on your account. If you have users A, B, and C listed on your account and you choose to receive notifications for user A, users B and C will not receive notifications unless you specifically request that.
Setting up Real-time Email Notifications:
From the main screen within your Privy account click on the icon for the campaign that you’re looking to edit.
After you’ve done this, navigate to the “Behavior” tab on the upper left portion of the screen located just beneath the title for your campaign.
Click on “Click to edit…” click on the checkmark box on the bottom of the display.
Select “Save changes”.
