The Privy Autoresponder is a one-time follow-up email that is sent to contacts after they’ve signed up for your campaign. There is no additional cost involved with using this feature and it is available in all accounts by default. Access to this feature is available from within the campaign edit mode:
After clicking on “Emails” click on the first option labeled Autoresponder. This will bring you to the edit mode for that particular email.
From the edit more there are a few considerations of importance. First there is the option to Publish the email. Emails will not be sent to your customers until the email itself is turned on using this feature.
Also, there is the ability to send a test email from this page. Note: Test emails will not display your coupon code or any information from the personalization category until the email is being live sent. That being said, if information is not populating in a test email that is perfectly fine. Your contacts will still see the intended information.
The personalization field is another point of interest from the editing options on the screen. It allows you to insert specific contacts details that will accurately reflect the information that is specific to your contact when they receive their email.
After you’ve made all your design considerations you can click “Publish this email” and then select “Save changes on the upper right corner of this screen.
After this point you’re all set. Your emails will start being delivered after your customer signs up for your campaign.
