Looking to use Slack with Privy? Not a problem. This guide will help you get everything setup in no time. Let’s dive right in!
Click on the Menu in the upper right corner of Privy (where your name/business name is)
This will bring you to the Settings for your overall account. Once there, navigate to the section labeled “Integrations”. This will be the third group of options down the left side of the page. From that group of options, you will want to select “Webhooks”.
Click on the Slack icon.
You will then see the following page:
Click on the Help icon on the bottom left corner of the configuration options. This will bring you to a different page:
The important thing, in this case, is to choose the option “create a new channel” just underneath the field that is labeled “Choose a channel”. When prompted you should name your channel “privy-leads”. And then select the green button labeled “Create Channel”.
Once you’ve created your channel you will be returned to the initial screen where you can select the green button labeled “Add Incoming Webhooks Integration”.
This will bring you to another page that contains the Webhook URL. Copy the URL.
Return to your Privy settings page and paste the URL into the Slack configuration dialogue box and click save on the bottom right corner of the prompt.
