Privy supports targeting displays by the detected region, country or postal code of visitors to your site. Geotargeting by these features allow you to more granularity target specific types of offers (such a free shipping or brick and mortar sales).
Geographic targeting rules are detected from your visitors' network address; in other words, the physical location where the visitor is accessing your site from. One thing to note: though uncommon, the detected location may be incorrect or unknown if the visitor is using a virtual private network (VPN) or other network configuration that obscures the visitor's location.
Region and Postal Code targeting for the following countries are currently supported: United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. Read more to learn about the region conventions for each country.
Privy supports targeting by US states, and the District of Columbia. For example, "California".
Privy supports targeting by county - for example "Northamptonshire" or "Wokingham".
Privy supports targeting by province - for example "Alberta".
