The Revenue Recovered will be reported on your Abandoned Cart Email and Revenue Generated with be reported on your Order Follow Up Email dashboard screens to report on the total revenue from your store that can be attributed to either your Abandoned Cart or Order Follow Up email flows.
How it Works
Privy sees when one of your customers makes a purchase after receiving an Abandoned Cart or Order Follow Up email within the last 7 days. If there was a purchase made by the email recipient within 7 days of that email successfully arriving in their inbox, then the revenue from that sale is attributed to your Privy email.
You will see the revenue generated to one email type, whether abandoned cart email order follow up email, based on which one the customer most recently received. That way, if a customer has received both an abandoned cart and order follow up email in the last 7 days, the revenue generated will only be counted toward the most recent email received, and not both emails.
If your store uses a currency other than USD, the revenue generated will still display the accurate monetary amount! When someone makes a purchase from your store in a different currency within 7 days of receiving one of these emails, Privy will take the day's market currency exchange rate from the currency used for purchase to USD to reflect the generated revenue.
